anything in Excel...

It's Excel-o-lozy...

Trick - 16th digit changes to zero, here is a fix...

In Excel, if a long number is entered then all digits after 15th digit change to zero.

e.g. number 1,234,567,890,123,456,789 will change to 1,234,567,890,123,450,000

I know who don't use this much long numbers will say who uses this much long amount in financials or calculations....BUT think bout those who maintain customer data e.g. credit card....

Solution is simple.....

enter the number prefixing it with a single apostroph i.e. ( ' )

or

change the formatting of cell to text

BUT

u can't recover digits which are changed to Zero by Excel as excel doesn't save it.
